On August 28, 2008, DOR published the 2008 net new construction values for levy limit purposes at http://www.revenue.wi.gov/equ/nnc.html.  DOR posted a revised net new construction report to the Internet on September 12, 2008.  The revision was due to the 2007 equalized values representing only the value of the primary piece for the 52 split municipalities that are located in more than one county.  This revision may impact the percent change due to net new construction for split municipalities.

*The 27 remaining split municipalities had a change due to NNC on the August publication that was under 2 percent and the additional value did not impact the municipality's 2 percent levy limit.

*These updated net new construction values will be preprinted on the Municipal (SL-202M) Levy Limit Worksheets.  The anticipated release of these worksheets is late October.

*The 25 municipalities listed below will be impacted by the inclusion of the equalized value for all pieces that make the whole district.

*City of Abbotsford

*City of Colby

*City of Wisconsin Dells

*Village of Belleville

*Village of Cambridge

*Village of Randolph

*City of Waupun

*City of Eau Claire

*Village of Montfort

*Village of Brooklyn

*City of Appleton

*Village of Spring Valley

*City of River Falls

*Village of Viola

*The Village of Boaz was revised due to the August version having a net new construction value of $220,900 when the Village did not have any change from 2007 to 2008 due to new construction.
